Web Yoga, Inc. has partnered with a Dayton, Ohio company to find and qualify candidates for their Java
Software Engineer position.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
1. Designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications/operating systems.
2. Will also coordinate work teams.
3. Provides technical support to project team members.
4. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
5. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
6. Performs a variety of tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
7. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
8. May report to an executive or a manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Skills
1. 3 Years work experience in the following area - SQL, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS
Coding
2. 4 years work experience in the following areas – XML, XSL, xpath
3. 6 years work experience in the following areas – IIS, MS Windows, C#, Visual Studio, HTML, ASP.net and MS .NET
4. Experience with Subversion, CruiseControl, JQuery, StructureMap and NUnit are a bonus.
